The Commission · By inquiry
There is no order form. Every Memoria Aeterna begins with a conversation; no commission is taken on without one.
Five movements, from first conversation to the moment the Codex enters the family's permanent record.
We meet privately, in person, or over a long call, and listen first. The family describes what they want carried forward and to whom. Nothing is committed yet; either side may decline at this stage.
From those conversations a single symbol begins to suggest itself, botanic, geometric, or personal. We propose three to five, and the family chooses one. It will appear, quietly, on the artist's panel, on the certificate, and (if desired) beside the edition mark on the back of the tablet.
The text is finalised with the family. The sapphire is engraved in Switzerland. The Codex is bound by hand. The artist begins the painting. Total time, ten to twelve weeks from confirmation.
The Codex is delivered in person, wherever the family asks. The piece is opened once together, and then the family decides where it will live.
The edition number enters the Memoria Aeterna ledger. The certificate is signed and given. From that day on, the piece belongs to the family entirely, and to whomever they choose to entrust it with next.
We never publish family names, never share messages, never produce marketing material around finished work. The Editions Ledger shows only the count, the state of the work, and, if anywhere, the city.
Conversations remain between you and Daniel.
A short note is enough. Daniel responds personally, within forty‑eight hours.
Daniel will write back, by hand, within forty‑eight hours.
Aeterna non cadunt.
